The staff of BCMH is here to serve you. Your impressions of the hospital, its procedures, and staff are important to us. Following the receipt of services at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, patient satisfaction surveys are periodically mailed. Upon receipt of a BCMH survey, please complete the survey and return it to BCMH so we may better serve you.
In addition to patient surveys, any patient, family, or visitor can use the Patient Relations Program Complaint Procedure to voice complaints and/or concerns regarding the services provided at BCMH. It is our preference to be informed of any concerns so they may be promptly addressed to assure the continuation of the highest level care for our patients.
Complaints and/or concerns may be submitted in writing or by telephone to the attention of the Chief Executive Officer, at (906) 524-3321. Complaints may also be filed with the Consumer and Industry Services and with the Joint Commission at the address or telephone numbers listed below.
Upon receipt of a complaint/concern, a review and evaluation will be completed regarding the specific complaint. Information regarding the complaint will be referred to the involved department. If the person filing the complaint identifies himself/herself, he/she will receive a written reply regarding the investigation of the complaint and the way the situation will be addressed.
