Community Volunteer Program

The Community Volunteer Program at Baraga County Memorial Hospital is an integral part of the organization.  Community volunteers serve in many different areas of the hospital, as well as the homecare and hospice programs.  They help the staff extend the quality of care to all patients receiving services at BCMH.  Volunteering can be fun and rewarding, and it can require as little or as many hours as an individual would like to donate.  There are no minimum requirements.  Volunteer positions available at BCMH include:

  • Greeter/Patient Escort
  • Swing Bed Activities Aide
  • Home Care/Hospice
  • Community Events

If you are interested in becoming a BCMH Volunteer or would like more information, please contact the Human Resource Office at (906) 524-3465.

Baraga County Memorial Hospital thanks all volunteers for their friendly interest and faithful service.
